Guru Randhawa

Gursharanjot Singh Randhawa, known as Guru Randhawa, was born on August 30, 1991. He is an Indian singer, songwriter, and music composer associated with Punjabi, Bhangra, Indi-pop, and Bollywood music. Some of his popular songs include “Lahore,” “Ishare Tere,” “Slowly Slowly,” and “Tere Te.”

Guru Randhawa made his debut with the single “Same Girl” in collaboration with Arjun. However, the song did not gain much success for both artists. In December 2012, he released his first single “Chhad Gayi” on YouTube under the label of Speed Records. His elder brother, Ramneek, provided financial assistance for the release of this song.

In 2013, Guru Randhawa released his first album titled “Page One” and unveiled three songs from the album: “Dardan Nu,” “I Like You,” and “Southall.” Although he launched several songs, he did not achieve much popularity during this time. The remaining songs from the “Page One” album, including “Khali Bottlan,” “My Jugni,” “Maa,” “Na Na Na Na Na,” “Pyaar Wale Test,” “Modern Thumka,” and “Billo On Fire,” were released in 2014 but did not attain significant success.
