Harmanpreet Kaur

Female Cricketer

Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team. Born on March 8, 1989, in Moga, Punjab, Kaur is known for her powerful batting and exceptional leadership skills.

 

Kaur made her international debut in 2009 and quickly established herself as a key player in the Indian women’s cricket team. She gained worldwide recognition during the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup when she played a remarkable inning of 171 runs off just 115 balls against Australia in the semi-finals, leading India to a historic victory and securing a place in the final.

 

Kaur’s aggressive batting style, excellent timing, and ability to hit the ball long distances have made her a formidable force in women’s cricket. She has been a consistent performer, both in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), and has played a crucial role in India’s success in various tournaments.
