Shantanu Maheshwari is an Indian actor, dancer, choreographer, and host. He was born on March 7, 1991, in Kolkata, India. Shantanu gained recognition with his debut in the show “Dil Dosti Dance” on Channel V, where he played the lead role of Swayam Shekhawat. The show brought him widespread popularity and acclaim.

In 2017, Shantanu participated in the reality show “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8” and emerged as the winner. He showcased his bravery and physical abilities in various challenging tasks. He also competed in dance reality shows like “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9” and “Nach Baliye 9,” where he became a finalist in both competitions.

Shantanu is a part of the dance crew Desi Hoppers, which achieved international recognition by winning the World of Dance 2015 Championship in Los Angeles. They became the first Indian dance crew to win the competition. The crew was also invited to perform on shows like “America’s Got Talent” and “Day Day Up” in China.

In 2022, Shantanu made his Bollywood debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Gangubai Kathiawadi” opposite Alia Bhatt. It marked his entry into the Indian film industry.
