Vijay Deverakonda is an Indian actor known for his work in Telugu cinema. He was born on May 9, 1989, in Achampet, Telangana, India. Deverakonda pursued his education in Hyderabad and completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Badruka College of Commerce.
He made his acting debut in 2011 with the film “Nuvvila” and gained recognition for his role in the 2016 film “Pelli Choopulu,” which was a commercial success and won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. His breakthrough came with the 2017 film “Arjun Reddy,” where his intense portrayal of the lead character received critical acclaim.
Deverakonda has established himself as one of the leading actors in Telugu cinema, delivering notable performances in films like “Geetha Govindam” (2018) and “Dear Comrade” (2019). He is known for his versatility and has also ventured into production with his production house, King of the Hill Entertainment.
Apart from acting, Deverakonda is actively involved in philanthropic activities. He founded The Deverakonda Foundation, which focuses on education, healthcare, and empowerment of young girls.
